The Building Horizons program is administered through the RVIHA and has been in operation since 1999. The Round Valley Indian Housing Authority has been in existence for over 30 years improving the quality of life through the enhancement of living conditions by providing safe, sanitary and affordable housing to the Round Valley Native community.

The goal of the RVIHA Building Horizons program is to provide a quality prevention program which focuses on the education to our youth in the areas of drug, alcohol, tobacco, and crime prevention. The Building Horizons program currently uses age appropriate curriculum regarding crime and drug prevention education as well as incorporating social and recreational activities to unite our youth.
